Ms Lissiman will work with the Atlas Pearls team in Claremont to reinvent the classic strand that will be on show at the 2015 Perth Fashion Festival in September.

She said it was lovely to be recognised just a year after starting her Poppy Lissiman accessory line that includes handbags, sunglasses and costume jewellery.

And its all voted for within the industry which is great, Ms Lissiman said.

The Fremantle-based businesswoman who walked away from designing clothes two years ago because of Australian production costs, said she was looking forward to working with such a high quality resource.

Compared to my current factory, its going to be a very different process because we mass produce but a lot more care and time will go into this, Ms Lissiman said.
