A WOMAN threatened a worker with a syringe while allegedly stealing items from an Innaloo store.

Police allege two women and a man entered the Scarborough Beach Road sports store on August 21 at about noon.

They chose several items each and attempted to pay for them at the counter with credit cards.

The woman police want to speak to.

The transactions did not go through so the trio started to leave, with one of the women still holding some of the goods.

A staff member tried to stop the woman but she threatened the worker with an uncapped syringe and left with the group.

Police are trying to identify the woman pictured, who is described as aged about 25 with light brown skin, 160cm tall, medium build and brown hair, and was wearing her hair tied back, a black Nike top and long dark pants.

Report information to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
