Understandably, Dr Cohen makes no mention of what an abortion actually is ” the deliberate killing of a fellow human being, early in his or her life.
Instead, he wants us to think in abstractions: ‘disadvantage’, ‘accessibility’ and so forth. It’s the Government’s responsibility, he tells us, to make abortions more ‘accessible’.
What he means, of course, is that he wants the Government to force the taxpayer ” you and me ” to pay even more than we are already forced to pay to abortion businesses.
He also wants you and me to be forced to pay for time off work, accommodation and airfares for women to come to Perth to have their living child killed.
Why should we want there to be even more abortions ” and for us to be required to pay for them?
Dr Cohen is quoted as saying that 25 per cent of all pregnancies are (as he delicately puts it) ‘terminated’. If so, we are losing roughly the population of Esperance every year ” children no different from the children who are allowed to be born.
Isn’t this enough for Dr Cohen?
