High buildings allowed in central Fremantle

Fremantle signed off against the will of the majority of residents on a planning amendment, which will see buildings in the centre of the city that are even higher than the one proposed for McCabe Street.

Not all the blame for higher rise and higher density can be given to local government though, as it is part of the State Government’s direction to implement higher density in all local councils.
