Opinion: Sort out basics of addiction

Rob Peirkowsky, North FremantleWestern Suburbs Weekly

In reply to your opinion in the Western Suburbs Weekly on 21.11, as I have no bad vices other than being a man, an old man in a lucky country where everyone has a say and things usually work out for the better, when everyone’s needs are looked after before, the drug addiction is tackled, in my case my wife, who is about the come to Australia for the very first time, is a big drinker.

Like the lady mentioned in your article, in Thailand where Phimon grew up there are not a great deal of options to be a successful woman let alone just being happy to live in a quiet environment, food and water are always a challenge, however they do that but well in Phrae.

Phimon will come up against new challenges and life experiences, but at the age of 52 she is well equipped to take on new things, so back to the drug location thing, it seems to me that, a change of venue might be a good thing to sort out the basics at the centre of the addiction but as I stated at the start the female mind will always want a permanent house in place no if or buts a house of their won, for life, but a house in Phrae Thailand is always an option to start with especially if there is a family involved.
