Abel McGrath director hopes to give back in 2017

Abel McGrath Leederville and Subiaco director Adrian Abel said sometimes we became so wrapped up in our own lives that we did not notice the hardships that others have to bear.

This year one of his goals for his business and team is to ensure there are opportunities to give back and support others.

“At Abel McGrath we aspire to be the best corporate citizens and fellow human beings that we can be,” he said.

“Therefore we will be organising a number of opportunities during the year for us all to expand our thinking and meet some incredible people who are punching way above their weight.”

They held their first event last week, hosting a breakfast at the Wembley Golf Course with Michael Brosowski, founder of the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation.

The foundation is an Australian charity working with children in crisis in Vietnam.

Their aim is to rescue children from danger, reunite them with their families when they can, and provide all the services needed for recovery and growth.

So far they have sent 4106 children back to school and training, built 86 homes for families, rescued 573 trafficked children, and handed out 63,024kg of rice.

Abel McGrath sponsored the breakfast and made a donation to the foundation. For more information visit www.bluedragon.org. n
