Edge Visionary Living director Gavin Hawkins described Eden as a rare combination of timeless architecture and stunning amenities set among expansive parklands.

He said it was a privilege to create an apartment address in a location so unique and peaceful, yet so connected to life’s conveniences.

“Eden is where residents will be able to find all of life’s pleasures within easy reach, from the boutiques of Claremont and Subiaco to local cafes and restaurants, plus golf courses and tennis clubs; it’s all on your doorstep in picturesque Perry Lakes,” he said.

“In addition, the water replenishment program of the lakes currently in progress will cement the Perry Lakes Reserve and Bold Park precinct as one of Perth’s favourite parklands.”

Town of Cambridge Mayor Keri Shannon attended the ground-breaking and said Eden was a great example of higher density development done well.

“I believe the project will be a leading example of how good density can be liveable and enhance people’s lifestyles when done well,” she said.

Edge Visionary Living director and Hillam Architects principal David Hillam said Eden was the realisation of the company’s design experience coupled with its passion for luxurious living.

“Eden is an opportunity to deliver the type of spaces normally reserved for luxury homes and we believe that it is our finest creation yet,” he said.

Mr Hawkins said residents would be able to enjoy a range of amenities, including a 25m heated lap pool featuring resort-style pool beds and wading pools, spa, sauna, steam room and a yoga studio.

Multiple alfresco areas, formal lounge and dining spaces will be available for residents’ use, along with a wine cellar with private 12-bottle lockers for each apartment.

There will also be a fully equipped airconditioned gymnasium, games room, state-of-the-art cinema room with provision for up to 15 people, a sunset terrace with treetop views, and a book retreat and library complete with quiet lounge space.

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
