Mrs Yap also ranked second among the principals in Ray White’s international network.

“We had the most challenging year this year but with the support of my husband, my boys, my team, the corporate team and the White family, we made it,” she said.

“I truly do believe that the best is yet to come, not just for me but for all of us.”

Mrs Yap paid special tribute to Ray White Dalkeith-Claremont’s general manager Lee Fitzgerald for being “the glue who keeps my business together”.

“I receive a lot of motivation from my team and we all train together now at 5am, five days a week, so we have the motivation and energy to do more deals,” she said.

“We are a family.”

Ray White Cottesloe-Mosman Park was awarded best presented office.

As well as recognising the achievements of 2018-19, the occasion also celebrated Ray White’s 25th anniversary in WA.

WA chief executive Mark Whiteman said he was extremely proud of all the network’s members and the clear message from the night was for the group to keep growing and getting better.

“Our people are really wonderful and our members produced almost 3000 sales worth more than $1.4 billion in sales value in 2018-19 but I know the best is yet to come,” he said.

This year was particularly significant with the opening of five new businesses in Kalgoorlie, North Perth, Cottesloe-Mosman Park, Fremantle and Bayswater.”
