Director Janey Sanderson said when the opportunity came up to move into the premises at Shop 25B, Crossways Shopping Centre, 212 Bagot Road, she grabbed it.

“The location is fantastic, with plenty of parking for our clients,” she said.

“We also have great window displays to showcase our clients’ properties and the good pedestrian foot traffic means great exposure as well.”

Ms Sanderson started Hive Real Estate two years ago, working from home, but the growth of the business led to the need for a dedicated office.

Bonnie Boorgaard has joined the team as property manager, while sales associate Sophia Munn will assist Ms Sanderson.

“Bonnie is a very experienced senior property manager, with a thorough understanding of property management and a commitment to providing the personalised service my clients have come to expect,” Ms Sanderson said.

“And I’m very happy to have Sophia with me; she has over five years experience in real estate, working with some of the country’s top agents.

“Together we will take the business to the next level.”

While growth has been necessary, Ms Sanderson intends to keep the business small.

“I want a small, boutique agency, where I can be very hands-on with sales and property management,” she said.

“I want working with Hive to be an enjoyable, positive experience for our clients, one where they will receive a professional, personalised service from a happy, friendly team.”

The team’s love of dogs adds to the positive atmosphere at the Hive office.

“We are all dog tragics,” Ms Sanderson said.

“Our office is a dog-friendly office, and I’ve worked with the Dog Refuge for a number of years and Sophia volunteers at, and manages, several rescues herself.” n
