SHENTON Park and Subiaco property specialist Jen Lowe has joined Ray White Cottesloe-Mosman Park.

The former scientist said the chemistry was too hard to resist.

While she has always had a love of property, attending home opens “just for fun”, it has been an interesting road into the industry for Dr Lowe, who has a PhD in science from Curtin University, worked under the Howard government and carried out research at Australia’s only nuclear reactor in Sydney.

“I started my career as a research scientist working in an academic environment and I really engaged with public service during this time, sitting on a number of committees at the university,” Dr Lowe said.

“I moved into politics where I was science advisor in the Howard government, but once they were removed from power, my career took a different direction and I worked in business development in engineering.

“I just didn’t have the love for it that I do for property, so I decided to make the move into real estate and started my career in a boutique office in Perth’s western suburbs around 11 years ago.”

She believes her time in science gives her a point of difference and joining Ray White will enable her to offer a next level of service to her clients.

“This background allows me to be analytical, methodical and execute plans well, because that’s how I was trained,” Dr Lowe said.

“I plan on increasing market share in my core area, and building strong and cohesive partnerships with my Ray White colleagues to deliver great service across the western suburbs.”

Ray White Cottesloe-Mosman Park director Jody Fewster said she was pleased to have such an accomplished person join the team.

“We’re really excited to have a sales executive of Jen’s calibre join our ranks and I’m really looking forward to her working with the wider team,” she said.

“Jen’s not only highly intelligent and deeply knowledgeable of the Subiaco and Shenton Park areas, but she’s also warm and approachable and displays the values of professionalism and integrity that’s so important to our company.”
