THE directors at William Porteous Properties International have welcomed John Hunter to the fold.
“We are family-based business and we consider new team members to be unofficial adopted members of the Porteous family,” Olivia Porteous said.
“We’ve even suggested John should consider changing his name to John Porteous.”
Mr Hunter said joining the agency actually felt like coming home.
“Everyone has been very welcoming and very supportive,” he said.
“It’s a wonderful team culture and a great fit for myself and my clients.
“I respect the ethics of the team, and customer service is particularly important at Porteous; they are committed to building relationships that last a lifetime, not just one transaction. In an industry that is becoming focused on technology, I feel this is more important than ever.”
Mr Hunter, who specialises in sales in the 6010 area, said he was impressed by the reach and growth of the Porteous brand.
“The agency was previously known mainly for selling luxury, multi-million dollar homes, but they have expanded into the western suburbs family market and properties priced from $500,000 to $50 million – Willie’s motto is ‘you’ve got it, we’ll sell it’,” he said.
“They are also at the forefront of the market, and are adopting a lot of new technology to add to their services.
“I’m looking forward to a long, successful future with my new adopted family.” n
