WHILE he has experienced some great sales successes, Justin Wallace said the most memorable moment of his real estate career was the launch of the first listing under his new business.
“To have the opportunity to put my brand name on our first listing was a very proud and exciting moment,” he said.
Starting his sales career in 2010, Mr Wallace is a relative newcomer to the industry, but his previous experience made the step into real estate an easy one.
“I spent eight years living in California, where I was the driving force behind setting up a subsidiary to an Oxford-based publishing company that published lifestyle magazines,” he said.
“Over that time I successfully launched four new publications working alongside head editors, photographers, designers, advertisers, readers and marketing departments.
“It turned out there were many parallels between magazine publishing and real estate: both are high-intensity, requiring long and demanding hours, and the campaign skills required to launch each unique edition in many ways are no different to each unique home.”
Initially working as the lead agent in- team, he experienced early success, with property sales over $100 million in 2013/14.
“The next step was to either become a shareholder in that agency, or step into my own business,” Mr Wallace said.
“I saw an exciting road ahead for real estate and technology, so I chose the latter, launching Wallace Real Estate 12 months ago with a commitment to pursue excellence.”
The business quickly made a strong impression on the market.
“We stand out on many levels at Wallace Real Estate because we are able to bring many years of publishing and design experience to the world of real estate,” Mr Wallace said.
“It has earned us a lot of compliments in the way we present and market properties.
