“It is great to get fresh energy coming into a new business which is seeking to excel in all areas of property management, specialising in executive leasing in the western suburbs.”

Ms Fisher has nine years experience working in real estate in the western suburbs and said she was looking forward to her new role growing the property management side of the innovative and successful agency.

She believes the outlook is positive for the local rental market.

“There is a real demand for family homes in the western suburbs and an influx of corporate tenants coming to Perth looking for large houses and furnished properties. I have had huge success when matching prospective tenants on our database and working closely with relocation agents, which I think is the key to keeping vacancy periods short,” she said.

“We are no longer in a market of tenants lining up at rental home-opens and property managers need to think outside the box when it comes to their approach and marketing.”

Ms Fisher said good presentation was important when putting a rental property on the market.

“There are cost-effective ways to do this and if you spend your money wisely, you will see an immediate return in reduced vacancy periods or a higher rent.” n
