SEVERAL local agents and agencies were recognised among WA’s best at the 2019 Reiwa Awards for Excellence last week.

Mint Real Estate director Peter Clements was named Residential Salesperson of the Year for the third year in a row, while Mint Real Estate Claremont was awarded Small Residential Agency of the Year, an award it has also won before.

Realmark took home multiple awards: the franchise received the Marketing and Communications Award, Realmark Coastal was named Large Residential Agency of the Year, Realmark Urban’s Jon Williams was awarded Marketer of the Year and Realmark North Coastal’s Sharyn Howe was presented with the Operational Support Award.

Reiwa chief executive Neville Pozzi said the awards were a unique opportunity for the institute to acknowledge those WA real estate professionals who demonstrate excellence in their chosen careers, which have a positive impact for their clients, industry and the community at large.

“These awards are the highest accolade that can be bestowed by Reiwa and go beyond mere transaction acumen, recognising those who not only go above and beyond for their clients, yet are also seen as innovators to their peers, have an outstanding business acumen and are experts in their chosen field,” he said.

“On behalf of the institute, I’d like to congratulate the 2019 nominees and winners on your achievements and the outstanding value you continue to provide the WA community in the face of what remains a challenging marketplace.”

Other local winners included Caporn Young Estate Agents (Residential Sales Team of the Year), Harcourts WA (Community Service) and Property Wizard’s Liz Sterzel (Buyer’s Agent).
