Mosman Park, 33 Saunders Street – Offers

Natalie HordovWestern Suburbs Weekly

SEVEN weeks and two days was all it took Million Dollar Makeovers director Sasha deBretton to transform a tired-looking Mosman Park home on an 842sq m block into a magnificent residence.

Up to 25 five trades were onsite seven days a week, and Ms deBretton personally managed the project.

She purchased the original home, liking its location on what she said was Perth’s richest street, and untapped potential.

“The home has panoramic views and great bones, it was just dated,” Ms deBretton said.

“I was able to turn it into a brand new build with stunning new interior design inside and out.

The renovation involved removing internal walls to make the most of the views, redesigning the floor plan, moving kitchens, adding a kitchen and a laundry on all three floors and opening up the master bedroom and ensuite to make a larger luxury retreat.

The gardens and pool area also received an extensive makeover.

The home has now has three, fully self-contained levels, each with its own secure entry, offering a multiple living opportunities.

Ms deBretton said it was designed to be used as one large family home with separate living areas for parents and teenagers on their own level, as well as a granny flat, guest suite, man cave, home office, gym, or pool room on the lower floor.

The top floor has stunning views across the Swan River, city and hills and includes a kitchen with Caesarstone benchtops and Neil Perry appliances, open-plan living area that opens to a balcony, home office, and luxury master bedroom suite with open-concept ensuite and built-in robes.

The middle level includes four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a kitchen with servery windows opening to the pool bar, and an open-plan living area that leads out to the infinity pool and more of those magnificent views.

The lower level has a king-sized bedroom, bathroom/laundry, kitchen and living/dining area.

The home offers luxurious living on a grand scale, and other features include wallpapers by Scandinavian Wallpapers, Gainsborough matt black handles, Kyoto metal art screens, Roxby Lane furniture, ducted vacuum system, dumbwaiter, reverse-cycle airconditioning, and low-maintenance terraced gardens.

As an extra bonus, the home is for sale fully furnished, with all new appliances.
