Nic Naitanui’s boots auctioned for Racing for MNDi

WHILE the song says ‘these boots are made for walking’ a pair of Nic Naitanui’s boots are helping find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), raising $1050 in 24 hours via an auction on facebook and instagram.

The auction was conducted by Realmark Urban to support Racing for MNDi, a charity committed to finding a cure for MND by focusing on the research of inherited forms of the disease.

Realmark Urban sales representative Paul Tonich said when they were contacted by the organisation they were thrilled to be able to rally together and support the cause.

They enlisted the aid of Naitanui who donated a signed pair of his boots plus two tickets to the West Coast Eagles v Gold Coast Suns match at Optus Stadium.

“We must give a huge should out to our long-term client, friend and supporter West Coast Eagles superstar Nic for donating the boots and his time,” Mr Tonich said.

Realmark managing director John Percudani said the company had always been focused on giving back to the communities and supporting charities.

“It is so important that we take time out and dedicate time and effort to great causes such as finding a cure for MND,” he said.
