IRIS Residential’s latest apartment development, One Mabel Park in Jolimont, has proved popular, with 30 per cent of it sold before its official launch.

Chief operating officer Tanya Trevisan said demand had been overwhelming, with 16 residences under contract and inquiries continuing to build.

“The response from buyers to this project has been incredible; from the moment we announced we had secured the site, we had people getting in touch wanting to be waitlisted for apartments,” she said.

“The majority of these early buyers have been mature, successful, professional couples from the local area who have kept a close eye on this tightly-held pocket in Jolimont for some time and love the absolute front row parkside location of this address.”

Part of the Parkside Walk estate, One Mabel Park overlooks Henderson and Mabel Talbot parks, is halfway between the city and coast and minutes from both.

“This project enjoys an enviable western suburbs location, with everything you need to enjoy life close by,” Ms Trevisan said.

“It’s in the catchment of Shenton College, one of our state’s best public schools, the local cafes and shops of Cambridge Street are within walking distance and the stunning City Beach beachfront is just a short drive.”

The $55 million boutique development has been designed by Cameron Chisholm Nicol and will include 46 residences, most with three bedrooms and all with large balconies.

Ms Trevisan said buyer feedback indicated several features at One Mabel Park stood out, including the bespoke architectural design, big balconies, double glazing, generous storage, the high number of three-bedroom apartments on offer and large kitchens designed for entertaining at home.

Apartments will have premium-quality finishes and be generously sized, with balconies including large sliding doors for seamless indoor-outdoor living and many offering park and city views.

Ms Trevisan said residents would also enjoy a fantastic level of amenity including a residents’ pavilion with a fully-equipped kitchen and parkside barbecue terrace, and a beautiful solar-heated swimming pool.

Prices at One Mabel Park start from $430,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and $995,000 for a three-bedroom two-bathroom residence.

Construction is expected to begin this year, with completion anticipated in 2020.
