“It’s a beautiful place to sit and read.

“All the upstairs rooms have great views over the suburb, treetops and tennis courts to the river.

“It’s amazing and everyone who has stayed here loves it.”

The 951sq m property also offers another living option, with a separate apartment on the ground floor.

“The original owners built the home for their son and built the ‘bungalow’ as they called it for themselves,” the owners said.

With its own entry, living space, kitchen/meals area, bathroom and bedroom it is ideal for older relatives or guests and has great garden views.

The home was the perfect place to raise their three children from teenagers to adults, and now they have moved out the owners are downsizing.

“It couldn’t have been better,” they said.

“We are very sad to be leaving, but the house is ready to be a home to another family.”
