IT is time for a new family to move into this delightful, character home and create some wonderful memories together.

The owners bought the property 19 years ago and their children grew to adulthood in the cosy, Federation-style home.

“It has been the perfect family home, lots of living has happened here,” they said.

“We’ve transformed the garden countless times as the children grew up, and painted the house hues of yellow as a family activity.”

The owners said the location was attractive and sought-after, close to parks, schools, shopping strips and local transport.

“Gloster Street is great for families,” they said.

“Our children always had friends the same age living on the street, or around the corner.

“Kids kicking a soccer ball or a football was an everyday sight after school.”

The home has three-bedrooms, one bathroom, a separate living room, study and open-plan kitchen/family/dining area that opens to the outdoors.

“Our favourite room would be the dining room as it is the centre of the home and was also the room we spent the most time in as a family,” the owners said.

“It creates the perfect link between the kitchen and the garden outside, with only floor-to-ceiling windows separating the space, and has the best view in the house as the afternoon sun starts coming through the trees into the garden.

“We also like the living room, which could be closed off; this was ideal as the TV could still be watched in peace while other family members cooked or listened to music in the kitchen/dining room.”

The home is on a 522sq m block and the gardens include an entertaining area and vegetable garden.

“The front and back yards are large and spacious with a country feel within the inner-city suburb of Subiaco, a unique feature amongst an ever-growing trend towards modernism,” the owners said.
