Over 400 people attended the awards, which were held on September 14 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Ray White WA chief executive Mark Whiteman said the network had defied the trend of the worst market in two decades to post a record result and the message from the night was clear – the group was keen to keep growing and getting better.

“Our people are really wonderful,” he said.

“In the state’s worst real estate year they produced nearly 3000 sales and more than $1.4 billion in sales value, we are very proud of them all but

I know the best is yet to come,” he said.

“This year was particularly significant with the opening of eight new businesses in Forrestfield, Rockingham; Rural WA, Dalkeith, Claremont, Fremantle, Bayswater and (recently) two of the western suburbs’ finest Jody Fewster and Deborah Brady opened their own business Ray White Cottesloe-Mosman Park, it is a solid result in growth.

“Tough times reveal the toughest and best in any field and we are very fortunate to have the calibre of people we have, but to be honest I can’t help but feel that the best is yet to come for Ray White Western Australia, we’ve got a lot more work ahead of us.”
