EDGE Visionary Living has launched its latest project, Orchard Terrace.

Part of the revitalised Subi Centro precinct, the five-storey building will include 82 apartments and four commercial premises.

A key feature, which gave the development its name, will be a spectacular rooftop garden that will include an orchard of orange, lemon and lime trees and a herb garden.

They will also be able to enjoy an enviable lifestyle, with other rooftop amenities including a solar-|heated 15m pool, sunset lounge areas, yoga deck, cabana with outdoor kitchen, and a gas-lit fire pit. Other features include a ground-floor lobby and a cafe.

Edge Visionary Living managing director Gavin Hawkins said the design had been crafted to deliver an engaging character to match its standout location.

“In partnership with Hillam Architects, we’re proud to add this premium development to Subiaco’s rich urban tapestry,” he said.

“Orchard Terrace is the ultimate urban oasis; you are still close to all the action but can retreat to your sanctuary.

“This is important for many buyers who want to be within walking distance of restaurants and cafes, but enjoying coming home to a peaceful haven.”

From the street, the striking facade combines elements of concrete and timber and features deep balconies with wide planter boxes and vertical garden trellising.

Mr Hawkins said over time, thanks to its lush greenery, the building would appear to grow and change with the seasons to create a living oasis.

A mix of apartments will be on offer, from studios to three-bedroom three-bathroom penthouses.

Interiors will combine timeless design with cutting-edge materials and three colour schemes are available: warm, contemporary or classic.

The living areas have been carefully planned to maximise space and benefit from high ceilings and full-height glazing.

The kitchens will feature stone benchtops, precision timber-grained display cabinetry and high-end European-built Gaggenau appliances.

To be built between Hay Street and Wunderlich Road, Orchard Terrace residents will be well-placed to enjoy Subiaco’s vibrant inner-city lifestyle, with its restaurants, pubs and nightlife, and much-loved Rokeby Road and Hay Street retail strips.

Edge Visionary Living director and Hillam Architects principal David Hillam said only the best locations were selected for Edge developments, taking great care to ensure connectivity with public open space, community amenities, conveniences and entertainment, all of which were essential for a desirable lifestyle.

With prices starting from $375,000, the development is expected to be an attractive and affordable option.
