Mrs Wood said the home had catered to every aspect of their lives, including many parties with family and friends.
“We held a 90th birthday for a favourite aunt, housing 50 people in comfort, despite it being winter, which necessitated an indoor party.”
There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The master, with walk-in robe and ensuite, is at the front of the home and overlooks the gardens.
Mr and Mrs Wood have enjoyed living in Subiaco.
“We came from the country and we were attracted by the village feel of Subiaco and its closeness to the city and public transport,” Mrs Wood said.
“It’s a happy community of people of all ages, from babies and children through to retirees like us.”
The home is on a 339sqm block and schools, the library, swimming pool and Rokeby Road are all in walking distance.
