Yallingup Hills ticks all the boxes for astute buyers

Natalie HordovWestern Suburbs Weekly

THERE may be a perception that the South-West market is depressed, but that is not the case, with some areas experiencing strong demand and recording excellent results, according to Stocker Preston property consultant Tony Farris.

“The Yallingup Hills property market has seen outstanding sales activity throughout 2017,” he said.

“This market connects to the nearby localities of Yallingup Siding, Quindalup, Quedjinup to Dunsborough and these ‘rural residential’ markets as a whole have seen 45 established sales to the value of $49,530,500 in 2017, surely encouraging signs for the future.”

Mr Farris has recorded the top three sales prices for the Yallingup Hills rural residential market over 2017.

This includes 169 Butterly Road, Yallingup, a custom-designed, three-bedroom, two-bathroom luxury escape with valley views on 5.2ha that sold for $2.095 million.

A limestone, five-bedroom, two-bathroom ‘ranch’ with ocean and valley views on 1.57ha at 29 Shallows Loop, Yallingup sold for $1.75 million, and 19 Robert Donald Heights, Yallingup, a modern four-bedroom, three-bathroom residence with valley views on 1.04ha sold for $1.47 million.

Mr Farris said location was one of the main factors behind the area’s appeal and would continue to drive demand.

“I believe this section of our local property market will continue to mature due to attracting a larger than usual buyer audience seeking a true down-south lifestyle, the bonus being your local town of Dunsborough and your favourite beaches are in some cases only five minutes away.” n
