AT Loreto Nedlands, teachers and staff promote an environment where all students have an opportunity to blossom.
The school is so invested in this initiative it has formulated a wellbeing and positive education policy called The Blossoming Policy.
Blossoming commences in Kindergarten where, under the guidance of dedicated and highly skilled staff, the students develop their skills and talents by interacting in a play-based exploratory environment.
Teaching staff plan inquiry investigations using the interests of the students and the interactive indoor and outdoor environment that is provided at Loreto Nedlands.
The indoor environment complements and links with the outdoors with the connections of natural product furniture, toys, equipment and plants.
The outdoor environment integrates a variety of texture based play pits, a creek, water pump and bicycle paths.
The students are encouraged to use their imaginations and explore the environment to develop resilience and grit and discover more about themselves, their gifts and talents.
Loreto Nedlands offers Kindergarten students opportunities to participate in music, physical education and library programs.
Parents work in partnership with staff to ensure a shared approach in assisting all Loreto Kindergarten students to blossom.
Loreto Nedlands offers a Kindergarten program of three full days.
In addition, on Friday a standalone Kindergarten program is an option for families who may or may not utilise the three day program.
Loreto Nedlands offers after school care each afternoon for Kindergarten students, if required.
The school is delighted to show interested families around the early childhood learning facilities at a school tour, while personal tours are always available on request.
The term three school tour is on Thursday, September 12, 9.30am, and the term four school tour is on Thursday, November 21, 9.30am.
