“TAKE a break while we renovate” is the new concept from Lux Interiors that seems too good to be true.

The interior design and renovations company will fly you anywhere in the world while the team renovate your entire home in just four weeks.

The renovation process can often be noisy, dusty and stressful for clients, not to mention the early starts from tradespeople.

With a Lux Interiors four-week renovation, you can relax on your vacation knowing your home is in safe hands and experience the transformation on your return.

This also benefits the design and build team themselves, who are able to work on multiple rooms simultaneously saving you time and therefore money; for example, reducing project management costs for a licensed builder to supervise the works.

“We thought it’s a win-win for both us and the clients, so why don’t we send them on holiday while we renovate their home,” managing director Kyle said.

Receive live updates and photographs throughout the renovation via Lux Interior’s scheduling app so you can keep up to date with the works and the various trades coming to your home.

The Kiddles family from Floreat took advantage of this when they wanted a new ensuite for their quirky, charming character home.

Lux Interior’s design brought in elements of terrazzo and spotted gum featured throughout the house.

The clients had specific requirements to keep certain elements of the ensuite, such as a dividing wall between the shower and vanity, while updating to a contemporary style to create a wow factor.

With a tight space to work with, the designer needed to ensure they did not waste any space with the redesign.

The toilet was rotated to allow extra leg room, the shower wall was brought out by 130mm to allow for a larger vanity and open shower, and the inclusion of a mirrored cabinet added extra storage.

Ash blue angled herringbone tile created a unique feature while a tiled ledge in the shower provided a unique storage solution for shampoos and soaps.

Lux Interiors was crowned the Australian Bathroom Designer of the Year at the 2019 KBDi Designer Awards beating contenders nationally, a fantastic achievement alongside the 19 HIA and KBDi awards won over the last two years across kitchen, bathroom and customer service.

Imagine walking back into a brand new home renovation just like the Kiddles after four weeks of holiday.
