A HOME ground advantage helped Cottesloe Tennis Club men’s team to secure the 2015/16 Tennis West State Championship last month.

In the men’s final against Wembley Downs, Cottesloe stalwart Brett Patten capitalised on the home-side support to get him over the line in a tight contest against Jake Robinson.

Patten won the opening match in straight sets 7-5, 6-4.
