SAVOURING success with Serbia remains a career highlight for Novak Djokovic.
But the world No.2 says a record eighth Australian Open title will be hard to beat.
Djokovic can’t wait to lead Serbia at the 24-team ATP Cup, saying the prospect has rekindled memories of their famous 2010 Davis Cup victory.

“I think a lot of the guys from that golden generation that won Davis Cup in 2010 were saying that probably was the highlight of our careers and it was definitely,” the 16-time grand slam champion said.
“I was blessed to win so many big titles in my life but that one was very special because it felt different.
“I could share that success with everyone being world champions.”
Djokovic hopes to again share that winning feeling at the ATP Cup where he is joined by another member of Serbia’s maiden Davis Cup winning team, Victor Troicki.
But Djokovic is clearly still not sick of solo success.
And the 32-year-old is craving more at this month’s Australian Open, saying an eighth crown at his favourite event would be difficult to top.
“It would mean a lot,” he said.
“That’s one of the biggest reasons why I still play competitive tennis, to try to win grand slam titles, the ones that matter the most.
“And the Australian Open was always my favourite because of how I felt on the court – that’s probably my most successful court in my career, in my life.
“So hopefully, I’ll be able to be in a good position to fight for a trophy this year.”
