The result set up a 4-1 rubber win for the Dalkeith dolphins who are still undefeated.

At Alexander Park , tour player Brydan Klein, who featured in last year’s finals for Mosman Park, returned this year to play for Hensman and survived a tight match against the Alexander Park’s Eddie Bourchier 6-0 6-7 6-4.

Klein is ranked 565 in the world and was in Traralgon last week where he beat world ATP 110 ranked Jason Kubler.

Hensman’s Zach Itzstein delivered a 7-5 7-5 win over rising star Jerome Iaconi to set up his team’s first win 4-1 following two draws.

In other results, Bayswater looked a very different side with the inclusion of tour player Gavin Van Peperzeel who led them to a close win over Mt Lawley.

Down the coast, Peppermint Grove went down to Royal Kings Park two rubbers to four and take on Dalkeith at home next week.
