Hockey: western suburbs players picked in WA teams for Indoor National Championships

WESTERN suburbs hockey players have been selected to compete in the Indoor National Championships in January.

Wembley students Lachlan Cain and Michael Low were both named in the WA under-15 Boys’ team and Nedlands’ Elizabeth Duguid was selected in the WA Open Women’s Team.

The players are set to complete in Wollongong in a month-long competition.

A Hockey WA spokesman congratulated those named in the state teams and wished them the best of luck in the build-up to next year’s tournament.
