WELCOME back for another Lynx update.

After five days in Melbourne, the team was happy to be back in Perth for a few days before our next game.

We also found out on Wednesday that, after a couple of results went our way, the game against the University of Canberra Capitals would be for sole possession of top spot on the table.

The game started very slowly, with Canberra showing more energy than us to take a 16-point lead midway through the second quarter.

We managed to cut it to 12 points at the half, with Sami Whitcomb keeping us in the game on the offensive side of the ball.

The second half was a different story, as we came out with more energy on the defensive side of the ball to outscore the Capitals 50-25 with the near 1000-strong crowd getting right behind us.

For our second game of the week we travelled to Adelaide to take on the Lightning on Saturday afternoon.

We again had a slow start, falling behind by as much as nine in the first quarter.

However, from this point we won each of the next three quarters to take the game 89-74.

Four of our five starters scored in double figures, providing a very balanced attack.

This week we are again playing at home on Thursday night, 6.30pm at the Bendat Basketball Centre against the Dandenong Rangers.

We will be looking for another big crowd to help extend our winning streak to 10 games.

See you all there!
