GET a glimpse of some of the best Indigenous footy players at the last ever open day at Subiaco Oval.

The West Australian Football Commission is partnering with production company Beyond West to present a sneak preview of the new Aussie rules television series Nyoongar Footy Magic – A Team of Champions on Sunday, December 10, at the oval.

There will be highlights from the series up on the big screen, kick to kick, heritage tours, food trucks and more for the family to enjoy.

Nyoongar Footy Magic will screen next year on NITV, the AFL footy channels and stadium apps across the country.

The documentary series profiles the lives and culture of 24 of the greatest Nyoongar footballers to play the game, from Polly Farmer and Barry Cable in the 1960s to Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin, Bradley and Stephen Hill and other favourite stars.

The event takes place from 4pm to 7pm and entry is a gold coin donation.

Parking will be available for $5 at Kitchener Park.
