Netball: Gosnells’ Courtney Bruce to play for Australia in two internationals

Bryce LuffWestern Suburbs Weekly

WEST Coast Fever defender Courtney Bruce says she cannot wait to pull on the green and gold of Australia after being selected for two international competitions.

The 23-year-old is in the Diamonds squad preparing for the 2017 Netball Quad Series, where Australia will tackle South Africa, England and New Zealand.

The Gosnells product will follow that up by playing in the Constellation Cup, a four match series against New Zealand, in October.

“It’s an absolute honour to be named in the two series and I can’t wait to get out there with the girls,” Bruce said.

“Being able to pull on the green and gold is a blessing every time.

“Just being in and around the Diamonds environment and the girls makes me want to challenge myself more and more.”
