Nominations sought for grant

The club has until the end of the month to get more nominations than other finalists to secure the grant. Club treasurer Rachelle Brammer said UWA would use the grant for new uniforms and safety equipment.

"We need more safety equipment for our courts so we can host more games at UWA," Brammer said.

Established more than 50 years ago, UWA has nearly 300 members and caters for beach and indoor volleyball.

Last year, three of its junior members represented WA and two made the All Stars team.
