Sam Kerr in town for Perth Glory launch

SAM Kerr is back captaining the Perth Glory Women for season 2018-19.

Kerr was in town for the Perth Glory season launch today held at The Westin Perth where sponsors, media and fans were introduced to the women’s and men’s teams.

Tony Popovic is the new coach for the men’s team that includes six Socceroos and nine new faces who will be led by captain Diego Castro.

Glory chairman Tony Sage said it had been a “long four months”.

The club launched the 2018-19 season with its inaugural Perth Glory in Business lunch featuring guest speaker Dr Vanessa Guthrie who talked about trust in sport as well as industries such as banking and corporate.
