Schoolkate debuts for Dalkeith Tennis Club

Warren HardingWestern Suburbs Weekly

WORLD top 100 ITF junior Tristan Schoolkate debuted for Dalkeith Tennis Club’s (DTC) Men’s State League team last weekend, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win against Hensman Park.

Schoolkate was leading 7-6 4-3 against Zach Itzstein when they were forced to abandon the match because of time and low light.

Dalkeith’s Josiah Tyson had a stirring win over Futures player Ashwin Sharma 6-3 7-6 and DTC’s Dylan McCloskey won 7-6 6-1 over Vuk Velkovic while Hensman’s Brendan Malarkey settled the home team with a three-set win over Ollie Henderson.
