Walker, from Scarborough Netball Club, and West Coasters member Hall play in opposing positions but consistently caught the eye of umpires throughout the season.

The duo were also named in the PNA All Stars Team for 2013 along with Renee Ging (Sterling Saints), Lauren Nisbett (Classics), Katie Lamb (City Beach Surfers), Melinda Leeder (Scarborough), Kelly Clinch (City Beach) and Fiona Weston (Wembley).

The Doornbusch Medal is named after PNA and WA Netball life member Shirley Doornbusch who started playing netball aged 19 for South Belmont (now Souths) in 1955.

Doornbusch achieved her A badge for umpiring and helped co-ordinate international matches between Australia and New Zealand and South Africa from 1967 and 1976.

She was also involved in the second World Netball Championships held at Matthews Netball Centre in 1966.

Doornbusch was the inaugural PNA President from 1991 to 2005 and is currently vice president.
