Shenton College takes out 2018 School Sport WA Diving Competition

SHENTON College has made a splash in the 2018 School Sport WA Diving Competition, named champion school for the second year in a row.

The Shenton Park school took on a variety of other secondary schools at HBF Stadium on Tuesday, March 13.

Student Elijah Juhas took out the Year 9 and 10 gold medal, with Bora Gundem and Matt Percic awarded the gold and bronze medals in the Year 11 and 12 division.

Principal Michael Morgan said the college took pride in enhancing students’ development beyond academia.

“Our focus will always be to provide a balanced, holistic education that builds and hopefully inspires (students),” he said.

“Our students’ involvement in pursuits like diving support our focus.”
