The swimmers’ training includes endurances, gymnastics and pool-based training about 18 hours every week.

National team members from WA will join a weeklong training camp in the eastern states.

“It is the first time Australia will have national teams in all age groups, 13-15, junior and senior, and it is a big step for the sport,” Kurson said.
