THE Western Knights Soccer Club has signed up several new players for the 2015 season to combine a mix of youth and experience in this years first division team.

2014 assistant coach Andy Thorburn has stepped up to head coach this year and said new players like John Migas, Tom Southgate, Dean Thurston and Ross Diamond had joined the Knights from other Perth clubs.

On top of the experience we already have in Ben Coulter and Craig Riley weve got a great mix of youth and experience, Thorburn said.

We came fourth last year and are still looking to get back in to the National Premier League.

Well give it a good nudge this year.

The Knights play their first 2015 game against Gosnells City on April 11 after winning the Night Series competition 4-3 against rivals Dianella this month.

The game was drawn 1-1 at full time so was won on penalties.

Everyones really excitedthe coaches and players, theres a real buzz around the dressing room, Thorburn said.
