Tigers grappler wins gold

The 15-year-old Aranmore Catholic College student took out the 14- to 15-year-old 62kg category at the National School Age Wrestling Championships in Sydney.

Just weeks later, she won gold in her category at the State Titles.

Dorko only started wrestling in December last year.

‘I just like the combat without the violence and the difficulty of putting the athlete down with different techniques,’ Durko said.
