CLAREMONT-NEDLANDS pulled off a Premier Cricket great escape on Saturday with a vital ninth-wicket partnership getting them over the line against Bayswater-Morley.

Chasing just 222 for victory at Hillcrest Oval, the Tigers top order failed with Jonty Wilde and Nathan Rimmington ripping through the visitors to be 4-84.

Tim David (38) and Travis Birt (38) combined to lead the side towards victory before more wickets left Claremont-Nedlands 7-175.
