WACA Premier Cricket: Subiaco Floreat and Claremont-Nedlands enjoy wins

SUBIACO Floreat Cricket Club was left frustrated after falling narrowly short of an outright win against last-placed University at Floreat Park Oval in Premier Cricket on Saturday.

Subi’s Andrew Holder was the star taking a 10-wicket haul, as University finished 9-149 in their second innings, after they had made 123 on the first day with Subi declaring at 8-270 in reply.

Holder took four second innings wickets with Ash Blake and Chris Hansberry taking two each.

A match saving 65 from Max Hope and 33 from Matt Birrell kept their side from complete embarrassment as it narrowly avoided outright defeat, leaving Subi frustrated.
