WEMBLEY Netball Club’s open division one team had a convincing 56-32 win over Stirling Saints while raising awareness for the Breast Cancer Network Australia on Saturday.

The club’s players wore pink socks and hair ties to mark Pink Socks Day at Matthews Netball Centre.

In other games, reigning premiers Scarborough had a 40-23 win over Aranmore Jets, Phantoms defeated City Beach (1) 55-48 and Classics had a 55-49 win over City Beach (2).

Classics (1) beat Perth College 57-18 in the junior division one competition while Classics (2) also had a win defeating John XXIII 37-33 and Methodist Ladies’ College beat City Beach Surfers 51-32.

MLC beat John XXIII by a goal (35-34) in the junior Year 7-8 competition while City Beach defeated Classics (1) 40-33 and Classics (2) had a 40-29 win over Perth College.
