West Coast Fever appoints new chief executive officer

TAMARA Sheppard is the new West Coast Fever executive officer.

Sheppard joins the club from Basketball Australia, where she was women’s program manager and team leader for women’s basketball at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

She has also worked for Queensland Rugby Union and the Australian Sports Commission.

“It’s exciting to join such a great organisation and play a role in shaping Suncorp Super Netball as the premier women’s competition in Australia,” Sheppard said.

“I’m also looking forward to working with Head Coach Stacey Marinkovich (nee Rosman) to ensure Fever is successful both on and off the court, as well as being a team every West Australian can be proud of.”

As the executive officer, Sheppard will drive the strategic direction of the club.

She starts on December 12.
