WEST Coast Fever is focused on Monday’s clash with the Northern Mystics in Auckland following their 19-goal victory over the Adelaide Thunderbirds last weekend.
Coach Stacey Rosman said the players were not getting carried away with their impressive win.
“Whilst the score line was a significant one the team is very focused on staying in the moment and we are already addressing our areas for improvement ahead of the game against the Mystics,” Rosman said.
“The ANZ Championship is a cut throat competition and from the games I watched across the weekend it’s clear everyone has shown improvement and are going to challenge this year.”
The Fever face the prospect of one of the Championship’s longest road trips.
