Laura PondWestern Suburbs Weekly

YOUNG Trigg surfer Jack Mickle has taken out a State junior surfing title.

Mickle was one of six junior champions crowned at the final WA Junior Surfing Titles on the weekend who will represent WA at the national titles in December.

His third place finish in the under-16 cadet boys event combined with his win in the opening event of the series to nab him the State championship.

“I can’t really believe it to be honest, I’m so excited and happy with my performance,” he said.
