Asbestos in new Perth Children’s Hospital: who’s responsible?

The discovery of asbestos in roofing panels at the new Perth Children’s Hospital was a disturbing new chapter in the troubled project.

Tests were ordered when a worker cut into a roof panel, one of 150 on level eight, and found the substance.

Four of the seven samples tested came back positive for asbestos.

WestTV took to the streets of Perth and asked residents what they thought of the discovery, and who they thought was ultimately responsible.
