Many definitions of antique refer to the object or item in question being more than 100 years old.

The 101st anniversary of the construction of ANZAC Cottage on February 12, 2017 will confer not only historic icon status, but antique status as well.

The Friends of ANZAC Cottage will be celebrating this remarkable milestone at the Cottage between 1pm and 4pm with guided tours of the Cottage at 1:30pm and 2:45 pm.

These tours will reveal more about the amazing history of this lovely Cottage built by the community in one day back in 1916.

Visitors will be invited to enjoy a piece of the birthday cake which will be cut at 2:15pm on the day along with afternoon tea for a gold coin donation.

ANZAC Cottage is situated at 38 Kalgoorlie Street, Mt Hawthorn and entry is free.
