The Black Swan Health Youth Ball is an eclectically-themed formal event for 15-20 year-olds to have fun, while raising awareness of mental health services and reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness.
In addition to providing an unforgettable night for the 15-20-year-old guests, the purpose of this event is to encourage conversation and community awareness on suicide prevention and mental health issues.
This is why the ball is being held in Mental Health Week 2017.
The Youth Ball is a celebration of young people and includes their involvement in every aspect of the planning.
It’s an event designed by young people, for young people, that will influence the wider community and raise awareness of suicide prevention.
