EnviroFEST 2017 at Whiteman Park

EnviroFEST 2017 at Whiteman Park

Bring your family to Whiteman Park on Saturday 25 March between 10am and 3pm for a fun and inspiring day of eco activities, workshops and displays.

EnviroFEST is a free event loaded with easy and family-friendly ideas to help you become more ‘green’ around the home.

Kids will be able to get up close with native animals and reptiles, have their faces painted, and take part in seed bomb making and a discovery walk through the Children’s Forest with our bush fairies.

Talks and workshops for the whole family will include:
• Could you live plastic-free?
• Checking out chickens
• The wonder of worms

Native and organic veggie seedlings will be available for sale and more than 30 stallholders will be on hand to answer all your questions about a range of environmental and conservation issues including green cleaning, solar power and renewable energy, native gardening, wildlife protection and recycling.
